At least now there is no way the BCS can face TCU against Boise again. Finally we'll get to see both teams against a different conference. Way to go Nevada.

The only scenario I can see in this situation is as follows.

If Utah wins and Boise win out then Utah vs Boise in non championship Bowl.

If TCU wins and Boise win out then TCU vs Boise in non championship Bowl.

If Boise somehow loses to Hawaii or Nevada then Boise vs loser of TCU/Utah, while the winner of TCU/Utah somehow gets to play in a non championship bowl, but at least they will have to face a team that is not MWC or WAC.

BCS committee has every angle covered, except option 3 will have at least 1 team to face up against a formidable opponent. As much as I don't really want them to, I have to root for Boise to lose.

Oregons not a better team. Whoever wins the SEC championship is going to crush Oregon. The only decent team they beat is Stanford. They haven't faced one decent defense the entire year. TCU wouldn't have too much trouble with Oregon. Boise St would have even less. Whatever SEC team ends up playing them might as well put in their second string the first half, then a fresh first string when the Ducks actually look like a decent team playing against poor defenses.

Actually, Arizona has a pretty good defense. It's their offense that is just so so
