need 2-3 girls for FC Dallas Select Soccer

My daughter's team is 2-3 girls short from forming this season. this is a Select Soccer team. girls have to be 10 years old by July 31, 2011. practices and try-outs are being held at Grimes Park in Desoto. starting Tuesday, the 5th, they will be having 2 a-days in preparation and hopes to qualify for Div.1 in Lake Highlands, so I'm sure any girl interested can just show up to one of these practices and participate and/or talk to the coaches.

If any of you guys have a daughter that plays and you're interested in her playing Select soccer for a very respectable and dedicated club bring her out. and if you guys know of any other young girl that might be interested please pass this on.

we have an excellent group of girls and we would hate for them to miss the opportunity to achieve what they have been working for all summer.

We've got it posted over there also. For some reason we're having a lot of trouble filling the roster so I thought I would post it here and see if you guys could help.

Luis is at the top of the game for sure. We're all very honored that he's coaching our girls.

I about shit when I saw all the teams in LHGCL! In the mid- '90's there were 10 teams, period. When they got older (U16) there were 8! I guess it's all about the money. The Texans had two teams...red and white. I guess Hassan likes the big bucks!

oh good lord it's ALL about money! the problem is thats where the competition is! now the girls have what they call EPL elite premier league and the boys have what is called the pre academy and academy teams suppose to be 1 step above Classic league division 1 but you travel around texas to play like in austin,houston and san antonio with 4 off the top clubs from DFW representing which is FCD,Texans,Solar and Andromeda!!!! it's all about money and still cut throat and bull shit at its greatest!

yes they do, as a matter of fact, FC Dallas' '96 girls are ECNL Div. 1 and are coached by the same coach as my daughter.

yes. they are trying to form to go select. they have the potential but not enough girls. we have until the 10th to find 2-3 but I don't see it happening. sux, 'cus they want to play select.

My daughter played for Jason Bates at the Image Soccer Club 10 years ago. He's a good coach.

my son played last season for Dallas Texans South 99' and the year before that Solar Red 99 the great thing for the girls though is they have alot more colege scholarships available to them! hey OP all your coach needs is to find a few good rec players to fill the roster! they normally do!

Title 9 took care of that. For example, there is 1 mens' D1 program in all of Texas: SMU. For women: UT, Baylor, A&M, Tech, SMU, TCU, North Texas, etc.

Surely someone here has a daughter/s in this age group that plays soccer. And if you're anything like I am, I'm sure you want to see your daughter develop and excel into a great player. So c'mon out and give us a shot, talk to the coaches and have your daughter meet the girls and practice with them and see if she likes it.

We are currently in our "Hell Week" doing 2 a-days until Fri. at Grimes Park in Desoto. 09:30-12:00 and again at 6:00- 8:30 in the evening.
