  • Is it time for Tebow in Denver?

What do you guys think? Should Tebow go ahead and get a start or should they continue with Kyle Orton? Denver is already out of the playoff race with Mondays loss against the Chargers. Some real experience couldn't possibly hurt at all.

Josh McDaniels said he is sticking with Orton right now and doesn't see a change anytime soon.

The Broncos are 3-7, the worst record in the middling AFC West. They have lost 15 of 20 for the first time since 1971 and '72, and they haven't won back-to-back games in nearly a year.

    Thanks Josh!

I say stick with Orton... Just my .02

No, don't even bother. The veer doesn't work in the nfl.

Oh by the way, Dr. Bells looks like it closed down.

I haven't been around that part of town in a while.... Well damn they had some pretty damn good bbq the few times I've been there. Guess Business just wasn't too good.

McDaniels has come under increasing scrutiny this season for his personnel decisions, including trading running back Peyton Hillis for quarterback Brady Quinn. Hillis has rushed for 774 yards and eight touchdowns in Cleveland -- 20 more yards and one more touchdown than the entire Denver team has managed this season.

      Doh!

He's not ready. He's proven it when he has been on the field. Sure he's thrown a touchdown, but all the other plays he has run the ball, which doesn't speak well for him if they're going to get him into a true QB role. Now if they want him to get some more time in at like a FB position to block, etc, I could see him having a more involved role in that aspect, but no chance and not ready to start at QB yet, IMO. Kyle Orton is doing pretty well. The defense is not getting the stops they need in order to keep the offense from having to score ever possession. Not too mention the lack of a running game is killing them.

ive thought orton has had a good year. Last year he had a QB rating of 86.8 with 285 completions for 3,802 yards passing with 21 TD's and 10 INT's with a completion percentage of 62.1

This year he has a QB rating of 94.5 with 241 competions with 3,023 yards passing already with 17 TD's and 7 INT's and still a completion percetage of 62.1. He is on pace to have around 385 comp;etions with 4,200 passing 27 TD's and 11 INT's.

          Good numbers

According to Monday nights broadcast only Kyle Orton and Phillip Rivers are on pace to pass 5,000+ yards passing this year and surpass Marino and Brees.

To be honest, Denver has the perfect situation with Tebow. Low expectations for Tebow, plus they have a proven QB to last while Tebow learns the ropes. I say give him the rest of this season, and next season pepper in Tebow.

              It can't hurt, they suck.
