Starting tonight, they get the Pistons, Thunder, Spurs, and Heat. I fear that we may be out of energy by the time we get to the Heat and on the 2nd night of a back to back. I've checked a few sites though and tix to that game are outrageously priced. I expected that though. This will be a nice early test though to gauge the Mavs toughness - if there is any. I predict 2-2 and hope we don't end up 1-3 in this stretch.

Oh..and to make things more interesting...the Heat have signed Erica Dampier.
The Heat will sign Erick Dampier to a one-year contract to replace injured big man Udonis Haslem, according to multiple reports.
NBA.com and CBSSports.com report the deal will be completed Tuesday.
Haslem will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left foot and will be sidelined indefinitely.
Miami worked out Dampier during training camp but decided not to sign him. Dampier was close to signing with the Rockets earlier this season, but the deal fell through.
The loss of Haslem looms large for the Heat. He leads the team in rebounding at 8.2 per game and leads all NBA reserves in the category. He also was averaging 11.3 points on 63 percent shooting in his last four games before getting hurt.
Dampier averaged six points and 7.3 rebounds in 55 games with the Mavericks last season. He was traded to the Bobcats last summer but Charlotte later waived him in a salary-cap maneuver.
ESPN.com reported the Heat will need to release a player before they can sign Dampier, who is expected to receive the NBA's $1.4 million veteran minimum salary.

And the Mavs blew the 16-2 lead and were in the hole for a couple quarters, but pulled out an 88-84 win over Detroit tonight. They never should have had to work that hard.

Magic beat the Heat 104-95. The Heat didnt lead at all in the 2nd or 3rd Quarter. Also the Magic didnt have Vince Carter due to a knee sprain. The Magic were able to make shots with their length and size on the inside. Brandon Bass had a good game.
The Heat isnt feared as people think they are. If you have big guys on the inside of the hoop then your gonna have an advantage. Miami has no one to match those guys when Miami is on the defensive side of the ball.Los Angeles Rams 11-5
