TCU is the only top 5 team playing a weak ass team this saturday. They need to beat the FUCK out of NM to keep Boise from making a jump if they win against Nevada. BSU has been inching closer and closer in the computers. I think one of them gets a shot however because I don't believe Auburn will get past both the Tide and SC.

If Oregon is in the NC game, Standford will be in the Rose Bowl. Boise will more than likely get the Fiesta Bowl

Stanford will not be in the bcs over Ohio state. Bcs is about money and Ohio state travels well and will bump Stanford for that at large bid with lsu getting the other after tcu/Boise.

I'm so tired of all that crying over there...Damn, man, this is football. They got beat last year in a "big game", and they still cry. With the state of college football, I say give them a shot at the title. They will probably get beat, but at least next year everyone will KNOW they're over-rated.

TCU and Boise were put in the top 5 to start the season for a reason...not because they were among the top 5 in the nation, but to ensure that they stay in the area in case the big conference schools screw up and they get a chance to play in the MNC...if these two teams were placed outside the top 5 to start the season, we wouldnt even be having this conversation because their SoS wouldnt allow them to jump the 1 loss teams on the board right now. TCU is overrated...so is Boise and Oregon. Auburn is gonna spank Oregon in the MNC and LSU will beat TCU in the Sugar. I also see Wisky or Stanford beating Boise in the Rose.

Not really the point I was trying to make. What conference do they have to be in to prove they're not overrated? Big 12 isn't shit anymore, Pac 10...blah, Big 10...meh. The SEC is the only conference with multiple tough teams, and it's not exactly geographically sensible to put Boise State there. They'll at least be in the MWC next year. Should make for some interesting games.

Seriously, the college system needs to change. There shouldn't be conferences IMO. They should be broken up into geographic divisions and let the teams play their divisions and a few outside division games. AND YES, A PLAYOFF SYSTEM.

The only reason the conferences exist is to find ways to spread the money around. They couldn't careless how it all plays out on the field.

From what I understand is that if the Champion of the league is in the NC game, then any others would be an at large bid, not necessarily having to choose another Pac-10 school.

Who is the bigger draw nationally and will put butts in seats. All teams go into a pool and after all the automatic teams get selected then they can pick based on who they want(there are auto qualify bids like if you are top 4 or whatever) but the last 2 at large spots as it stands is between 3 teams.

i have to disagree. With the Rose Bowl being in their backyard, i have to say Stanford. Now, if they chose who they think is the BEST one loss team, it WILL be Stanford
