All the great teams have had a pair to do it and then a supporting cast. Look at Kobe and shaq. Then they suxed for a year or so until gasol came. Look at the spurs. Jordan and pipen. I don't disagree with that. But what they did was blatantly against league rules, and Stern has refused to acknowledge it. See, one player, can't contact another player, much less two, to arrange a deal for them all to wind up with the same team. That's EXACTLY what Wade, Lebron, and Bosh did. The league won't even do an investigation. That's just how hard they are trying to cover it up.

I think Game 1 wasnt a fluke, I think the Bulls are that good on defense. I dont think they will hit as many threes as they did in Game 1, but i do like the Bulls in this game and in the series.

The East was weak as fuck last year. Just like it is this year. Only two teams worth a shit in the East are Chicago, and Miami. There's your explanation. So take that one off the board, and you're left with two 2nd round exits. Add in the Perkins trade, and voila.

It's a dumb rule. I'm all for any player to go to any team he damn well wants to, as long as the team is under the cap and both sides are happy with the deal I don't see a problem.



edit: I searched and searched and couldn't find any rules regarding players talking to each other about who to sign with. Plenty of rules saying that team reps can't contact players, but nothing about players talking to players.
