Everyone should make it a point to tune in to Norm on 1310AM today. Show is starting now. I don't know what he's got planned, but he has an amazing mathematical mind, and after last night's game, it's sure to be a damn good show. There will be all kinds of comparisons with Dirk, and the historical NBA greats. So he will compare the stats.

That kept the lead from getting too out of hand. I'm talking about direct events that lead to OT, then the win. After reading the below, you can't really deny it.

Taken from ESPN's play by play...

4:33 86-99 James Harden loose ball foul (Dirk Nowitzki draws the foul) This was where he fouled out.
    4:20 87-99 Russell Westbrook misses 17-foot jumper
3:48 87-99 Russell Westbrook lost ball (Jason Kidd steals)
3:48 87-99 Russell Westbrook personal foul (Jason Kidd draws the foul)
2:11 94-101 Russell Westbrook misses free throw 1 of 2
2:11 94-101 Russell Westbrook misses free throw 2 of 2
    1:38 96-101 Russell Westbrook misses 15-foot jumper
    0:40 98-101 Russell Westbrook misses 16-foot jumper

So, Harden fouls out, and Dallas goes on a 17-2 run to send it to OT. To me, that says Harden being off the floor, coupled with Westbrook's bad decisions and missed shots, allowed Dallas back in the game, sending it to OT.

Yeah that was dumb. It should have waited untill after his shots. And if they did spill water on purpose something should be done to penalize them.

I read somewhere that some of the OKC bench spilled water on the floor to delay Dirk taking his free throws and trying to cool him down. Anybody catch that? As much as I like Durant as a person/player the early celebrating got to me last night as well as the OKC bench doing the same thing thinking they had sealed a victory. It ain't over till it's over..
I didn't hear about the early celebrating until this morning. It sounds like after he hit a three to go up 15 points he went to the bench and did the Aaron Rodgers championship belt move. Bad juju. Funny thing with that was, Stevenson did one at the end of the game, but I didn't know why, now I know. He was mocking Durant.

he will be a 2 guard if he doesnt lose the shoot first mentality. when he does penetrate the paint and pass, he is quite good at it but during the course of the game it's like he forgets.

OBV this is where his youth hurts him. no doubt he is used to being the best player on the floor coming from high school and college. doesnt work like that in this league, especially when durant is your teammate.

westbrook is a good player but needs to become a better point guard. he will get there but right now he is full of mistakes that kill momentum.

I was referring to post season award. I agree about Westbrook. He will get there, he's just not there yet. I'm only re-stating what I said before this series started of why OKC would lose.

Yes, I watched it. His hand was glued to his forehead and his elbow to the table.

    Defeated.

When Dirk hit those freethrows at the end to tie it I knew it was over, all the OKC players look like someone kicked their dog, lol. Durant looked like they were already losing while he was on the bench during the last timeout in regulation, they were too young to handle that pressure. I thought Durant was gonna cry in the postgame interview.

Edit: Dammit Doug get outta my head!
