Mavs vs. OKC

Both teams had sloppy defense for a little while. The better team won, and I am sticking to my Mavs in 5. Dallas will win its next 2 home games and 1 in Ok.

Yeah, this OKC team is going to have to give it everything its got to win the series. One slip-up of a game by the players they rely on most and they're toast, much like tonight. And that still may not be enough.

This is going to be one hell of a series though.

For sure gunna be some entertaining games. I still think the Mavs will win before the 7th game, but I was impressed at how the Thunder hung in there till the end. They're gunna be a force for years to come. I might not be going for em against the Mavs, but i'm a big Durant fan since his days at UT. So i'll be cheering for em to do good as long as it's not bad for us.

Yes - I'm impressed they hung in there too. This game very easily could have been a blowout. Each time Dallas looked ready to pull away, OKC made a little run. They didn't quit. Props to them for that.

For a young, quick team, Dirk made them look like they were glued to the floor a few times. Durant CAN play. I sensed he was a little dejected about scoring 40 points, and still losing by a fair amount. Their last series (and the "tired legs") might come into play in the next game or two.

This. Durant showed too much frustration last night. It was obvious as soon as the second half started he was really getting annoyed with how the game was going.

The whole OKC team was showing frustration and looking like a bunch of kids crying because their mom took away their best porno mag. The refs got inside their head and you can't do that in playoff basketball.

If you can't see the differences between this team and the 06 team, you can't possibly have watched more than 5 minutes of maverick basketball. Or you're just not paying any attention, at all.

Oh boo hoo. Mavs are a different team (almost completely) and people still don't let them live down the loss in 06. One team had to lose in the championship games, just because it was the mavs doesn't make them a bad team. They made it there right? All of the people that comment about 06 aren't fans of the mavs. However they will be the first ones celebrating when the mavs win it all.

This team is a lot deeper than the 06 team especially when looking at the bench. There playing at a whole different level than 06 IMO. I had full season tickets and went to every playoff game that year and it was weird leaving the arena that final game and everybody was quiet. Sucks I only have half a season this year and can only go to half the games

Feel bad for me. I haven't been to a game since the Portland series. I gave my Laker game to my girlfriends son and tomorrow nights game to my nephew
