Big letdown, especially the main event. Overeem looked substantially less ripped and noticeably smaller for this fight. I wonder why. On the gas, I think he can beat anybody, off the gas, he's not getting by JDS or Cain.

Huen / Almeida was the fight of the night IMO.

He was only 10bls lighter. And it's hard to fight someone that doesn't want to fight and is flopping on his back like a turtle that can't get up.

I would love to see JDS or Cain fight Overeem, i don't think it will be as easy for them as you think

I wouldnt say he has NO ground game, because he does. He's just not on the level of Werdum in terms of BJJ, but then again maybe only a handful of people on the planet are.

Lottery punch landing? He is the 2010 K-1 grand prix champion, i think he has some pretty good stand up. Cain would have a better chance taking him to the ground, maybe. And that's IF he can get Overeem to the ground

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny too. People assume because he's huge, he's got no skill. He may not be the prettiest fighter to watch, he's still very skilled. To say he isn't is ridiculous.

Yes it is. Personally, i would stand with Overeem if i were JDS or Cain. Alistair has proven in the past that he can be knocked out. Of course those were top tier K-1 guys knocking him out lol

He's also been submitted, but he was about 60lbs less of muscle then too. lol.

Overeem is a dominant fighter, is he a world class MMA champion? That has yet to be seen.

I've picked Barnett with win the tournament, not Overeem.

Barnett is a badass. Great ground game, sick GNP, very strong and usually comes in shape. He's recently made amends with Dana White ending their long stand feud. Barnett's biggest problems are his big mouth and staying clean for tests. I personally enjoy Barnett's humor and smack talk, some people don't care for it. He tells it like it is and I respect that.
