UFC 129: GSP vs Shields

Pretty much. The Aldo fight was tremendous, one of the best in recent memory. That tumor that Hominick sprouted was insane. Anyone have pics?

GSP fight was dogshit. I understand knowing your opponent thoroughly, but he refused to go to the ground and to at least make it interesting.

That Aldo fight was the best fight I think of the year so far! Those boys went at it & left it all out there. I think Aldo actually gassed out in the 5th round & Hominick had plenty left in the tank & that last round he got some payback. The fight went alot longer then I thought it would go. Aldo is a Bad dude. But Hominick showed some heart & hung with him.

Now GSP fight was a complete waste of 30 mins. My ass was killing by the time this fight started with the damn wood chairs at BWW are hard as hell. All they both them did was dance all 5 rounds. George kept throwing my fav punch to throw. The overhand right. But it never landed anywhere that counted & GSP got busted up by sheilds. Sheilds isnt better then GSP. But GSP coasted through that fight on cruise control if you ask me & i was very dissapointed in GSP last night for not working harder.

The Aldo fight was great and also showed me that he is beatable. He was gassed and he will pay for it one of these days! He has incredible head movement & counter punching skills to say the least...his front leg kicks are nasty!

As entertaining as the Aldo fight was, I'm pretty sure thats the worst I've seen him look. He gassed big time, I don't know if it was the weight cut, the time off to injury, the record crowd, etc... but I'd imagine he will have it corrected by his next fight and absolutely demolish whoever is next.

The card was great overall, even the prelims were exciting, and the one throw away fight on the card had the decency to finish quickly. GSP was a let down, I figured it'd be a snoozer, but that was almost an exhibition match. He needs to stay at 170 and figure out how to stop someone before he starts thinking about Anderson.

Aldo has some nasty combos for sure. I have been keeping up with Aldo back from when he started out in the WEC! He looked good all the way till the 5th round and that was it for him. First time where as you said. He actually looked like he is beatable

As usual you have no clue what you are talking about. Aldo looked like shit. He waited too long and cut too much weight by his own admission. He was gassing by the the middle of the 2nd round. He needs to move up a weight division.
