i have 2 10 inch jl audio v2 and they sound NICE and there cheap, 110 each. i would suggest a 12 jl audio it will prolly be about 150 or so and at 340 watts will sound real good. my 2 10s are at 300 each and are LOUD, but i do have a custom made box. but i still think it will be nice.
here's what i suggest:
and here are the ones that i have in my car:
and as you see i have mine a little overpowered but they will be ok.
i bought mine from earmark in Addison on beltline if you don't want to order online.

Cheap best bang for the buck would be a Dayton SUB-120 12"
Not muddy muddy (if calibrated properly) and can reach down with authority to the high 20Hz range. And they are cheap and can move some air. And it is important to use high grade dedicated sub woofer interconnect cables. Don't use a cheap RCA cable lying around in your parts box. I use MonsterBass 100 sub interconnects 6' for the time being until I get my 400sw's.Last edited by LS1Goat; 11-21-2010, 11:37 PM.
