Speaker recommendations ...

Planning the interior and stereo for my 55 . Im probably going to buy this receiver.. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_068WB1...s.html?tp=5684

Will put some 6x9's in the package tray and some 4 inch speakers up front some where (maybe in the center console under dash)
Been a LONG time since I bought any speakers, whats a decent brand of speakers for this application.. Just want to have nice sound, not looking to rock the world.

Focal integration and up are good. Any of the JL Audio is good. Better speakers use better materials and sound better but require more power. All musoc needs a subwoofer. Do not put speakers in the console. Kick panels would sound way better. I am a Retrosound dealer.

Whats your thoughts on that head unit ?

For overall sound quality and ease of use, I am not a fan. For how they fit into the vehicle and the amount of features they have, they are fine.
