  • Blue Tooth Receiver for 4 Channel Amp

I'm looking at this blue tooth receiver - [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Milennia-1135-47102-Bluetooth-Dongle/dp/B00BYGEVA4[/ame]

My question is, if I use RCA to plug into a 4 channel amp and use my iPhone's volume to control volume - am I missing anything else (aside from an EQ)

Are there any other 12v receivers that could be used to go directly to the amp? I'm installing this on a motorcycle that doesn't have a radio of any kind.
    I build websites. PM me.

I think you are going to run into a problem with the volume control. Being a dongle it's not going to have any kind of amplification circuit. You can probably set the gains pretty high on the amp to compensate but then it's also going to crank up any other interference.

That's what I was afraid of. I'm trying to do this without a head unit. Any other products out there? I just want to walk up to the bike and when I turn it on, it pairs automatically.

Something like this? [ame="http://www.amazon.com/PLMCA20-Motorcycle-Snowmobile-handle-bar-Weatherproof/dp/B002UL7YII"]Amazon[/ame] Looks like you could use it with different speakers too.

I'm going to be running the Rockford Fosgate 300x4 amp - i just need something to get the signal there and want to connect wirelessly (if possible)

            JL Audio MBT-RX $40 or Bazooka BTM100.
Maybe use a JL Audio CL-RLC $79 for a line driver/volume control with the MBT-RX. Other line drivers are available for less than $50 without a volume control.
