dash speaker for 87-93.

They're these weak 3.25" speakers. What are y'all doing to make these worth it. Heard people are putting twitters or tweeters (or however u say it...) there. I don't know anything about sound systems so parden the ignorance. I have new alpine door and rear speakers. Took the old pioneers out of the dash because they distorted the sound quality when I played a song. I want to upgrade them but don't know what to do.

JL Audio makes some nice 3.5" speakers but the tweeter may be too tall to fit under the grille. The 3.5" speakers will need to have a capacitor at the very least added to them to remove some of the low frequency signal. Also, if the deck is running the door and dash, then that may also be a problem because decks are not designed to play 2 ohm stereo.
