so i have a house that i need to get fixed up with a media solution...

the plan is to have the tv mounted on the wall in each room, everywhere there is a tv it will have a Cat5, HDMI and power in the wall... the house is also wired for speakers throughout the house 4 in each room with 5 outside...

my plan is to put the DVD,Satalite boxes, and all the sound stuff in one location(hidden away)

i want to be able to watch tv in surround sound in each room with the tv in that room and have the radio going on in the backyard if desired but the catch is that i want to be able to make the rooms be capable of getting the radio via the same way as the backyard if there is no tv on or if i desire.

also the remotes need to work throughout the house(possibly use cell phones as remotes)

any ideas on where to begin? or what brands of stuff to use

It's expensive, but I'd use Crestron to distribute my audio and video throughout my house.
