decent, inexpensive 6.5" door speakers?

    Mine is an early low option car, so only the two door speakers from the factory in mine.

    The BOSE sub that is in the nissan Murano spare tire will fit in the miata 15" spare, and there is a guide to rewiring the two 4" subs in sieries to make them 4ohm, and you can run a seperate amp to power them. Ive got one Im going to try out.

    I haven't measured yet but I was going to see how much could be cut out between the seats where those two little speakers are. If an 8 would cram in there that would be great. I am going to be eyeballing this in the next week just to see. I like the passenger foot well idea and yes I am a huge fan of stock stereos.

      Why not just get some really nice 6.5 components on a good amp and see if that's enough. I put a set of Focal components in a Z4 on a 125x2 amp and it rocked in that little car.
