Random chirping sound coming from AVR

I'm getting a random chirping sound coming from my AVR. It sounds exactly like a low battery warning chirp from a smoke detector.

I've played with different sound settings and it does not seem to change anything. This is very annoying.

Its a pretty old system
Sony STR DB930 with a Bose 5 Channel Surround
