    6 ohm vs 8 ohm?

    On a 12v system @ 35w which offers the more load resistance?

    Ohms is a unit of resistance. 8 is a higher load, lower amperage.

      It's somewhat uncommon to use either in a car audio system, unless you are wiring multiple drivers in parallel to reach a lower overall resistance. Most stuff is 2 or 4 ohm.
