I was not expecting much for $600, but this tv surpassed all of my expectations. The picture and sound are fantastic. The sharpness of the picture is also amazing. The TV has to be connected to the internet before it will function. The tv does not have a headphone jack, so you have to use the optical audio if you have external speakers that you want to hook it to. The smart tv features are very easy to use. When we first turned it on, the picture was set on vivid. This feature makes the colors very bright, but the picture is not as sharp. Make sure you change the setting to normal to increase the sharpness. You won't go wrong if you buy this tv.

Of course it does, a smart tv is just a tv and a computer together. The regular inputs will work for video input, but the smart part means it is an internet tv. You would need to have wifi or an actual ethernet cable running it to take advantage of the cool stuff like crackel, vimeo or netflix. I have a 65" slim LED smart TV and it is the shit. I can go on youtube and almost 100 other applications on the tv.
