good tvs. i would really prefer the light source to be led or laser on those but for the money its hard to beat this.

that is a product i would buy a warranty on as long as it covered the bulb. (i know compusa's warranty on those tvs said it covered 2 bulbs max)

I have the 65 C9, which is a grade below the 737 series, and I love it. Recommended viewing distance for the 82" starts around 10 feet. Replacement bulbs are only $99 from mitsubishi.

If you have the room, I'd grab one without reservation.

I've had a Mits. 65" 1080P DLP for 3 yrs or so. It's been great with zero probs and still on the original bulb. It's probably due for a new one soon though, every once in a while I notice a slight flicker, but the wife never notices it. She also can't tell the difference between a DVD and Blu-Ray though!

I do notice some motion blur during some action films/sports, but ours is the 60 hz and now they're 120 hz to help with that.

I have a 65" from 2006 that still looks great with original bulb. Also have a 73" diamond 2 yo and a new 82" I got in august. All three rock and needless to say we have some big tvs in our house. When I laid eyes on the 82" it was just to awesome to leave with out it.

82" plus xbox kinect is a blast and 3d is awesome. They have a 92" coming out is year so the 82's will probably drop some more.

I can't hardly imagine the 92 in a non theater room. The 82 in my living room is pretty gigantic. Prob sitting back about 10 feet from the couch.

You can't go wrong if you decide to get one of any size. All nice tv's.

I have 2 mitsubishi tv's one is about 18 year old projection that has never had a bulb replaced and still works well forwhat it is. I also have a 52 inch hd that is about5 years old that works great and has a good picture. It also has never needed the bulb replaced. About once a year I will pull the front off and clean it.

I'm about 100% certain that the 18 year old Mitsubishi you have used 3 CRT picture tubes.....not a bulb. DLP and LCD projection tv's weren't made back then.

One thing I have noticed lately is the Mits bulbs are cheap direct from the manufacturer - most of the ones I've looked up for customers have been right around $100 for the OEM bulb/housing. It's always better to go with a OEM bulb than the generics, especially with a Mits.

18yr old is definitely a CRT projection - different technology. The 52" may be a CRT projection too. If the 52" sits on the floor(on casters) then it's a CRT projection. If it needs to sit on a stand, then it's a DLP(normally).

i think samsung was the only one that used the LED as a light source..and then samsung stopped making dlp's to focus more on their led/lcd tv's. We have a 50'' samsung dlp and we love it..but we sit about 10 feet from it so i think we will be ordering the 65'' mits. from tiger direct

My 73835 Mitsubishi has given me zero issues. I love it. Once again, the only thing I don't love is that it isn't an 83". Maybe next year I will upgrade.

My samsung 67 inch dlp is led. Nice picture. 67 inch is not very big after having it acouple of years. 82 would be a nice size. Mine is 82lbs btw.
