2012 Fusion no AM Tuner reception

I wasn't sure if this would go here or in the garage.

Recently the AM tuner has all but gone out in my Fusion. Is this typically an issue where the dealer will simply replace the entire head unit. It's still under warranty but if there is a simple fix I'd just assume do it myself.

Typically they will not fix the stereo. They will replace with a refurb unit and then send yours out to be fixed so they can use it next time someone else has problems with theirs...
