Sirius Stiletto 2 reception issues

My faithful SL2 now just goes to "Acquiring signal" when docked. Its been a great unit, even would pickup a satellite signal laying on my desk in the office but alas, no more. Will work over Wifi but times out after 30 mins or so. WTF is up with that?

Was thinking on this newer XMP3i player they have. Anyone tried one of these out yet?

I have not tried that one.
Have you called and told them to cancel your service and when they ask why tell them your junk is no workie and then tell them to give you the same one you have now (probably refurb)? win.

Haven't tried that but its a good idea. I have an older 1st gen model stillleto in my AV closet that is wifi cionnected and stays on all the time. It streams Sirius radio thru to my zoned audio controller. That thing will not die. Some times newer isnt better.
