Does anyone no anybody that does spl testing? I'd like to see what it does on the amp I have now and then test it again when I install the new 1. Thanks.

You could also go to the local police dept and ask them to check it...but then you might get a ticket for noise pollution.

For SQ system 135db is fairly loud. I think I pulled off around 132 or so in my Supra when it was measured at about knee level in the front floorboard...and that was with a single rear facing Rockford Power series DVC 10"...bridged mono on a Linear Power 3002 in a sealed enclosure..with an Epicenter. It was by FAR the best hitting system I've ever had but I think a lot of it had to do with the layout of the car. I blew out several JL Audio 10W6's (back when they first hit the market around 95)...and then Rockford came out with that Power series 10...and that thing is STILL in my Trans Am pounding it out on the same Linear.
