HDMI splitter

My tv only has 2 hdmi inputs but I have 3 hdmi components. Ive found some cheap hdmi splitter "Y" cables. Is it ok to use these or do I need a switch box?

Screw the cables. HDMI switches are cheap and reliable, including the ones that support 3D passthrough.

You need a switch... or you run the risk of authentication issues which will bust you down to non-hd format. HDMI spec is a convoluted mess.

Tera 4:1 + 4.88's = Slowest rig on here
