    ID's are nice.

the guy that helped me figure my box out had a couple of 10's that sounded awesome

The JBL should work fine for what you want.

FYI it can be had for around $10 less out on the net.

The only time that I ever really spent money on car audio was infinity. My old mustang sounded like a fucking concert hall with the kappa series surrounding me.

How many cu.ft is your box? Im asking because it looks kike you have ebogh space that you could have a ported box for them 2 8s.

To white trash wagon about how much mounting depth do you have because i would go with either a single sundown sa8 or an american bass xd8. They are more expensive but i think you would like them more

The box is only half as big as it actually looks. The other half is storage. I did not want to give up all of my storage space for subs. I cant remember the exact size, but i think the internal space is about .8. And yes a ported box was talked about, but I love the way it sounds sealed.

The JBL was just too deep to fit my box design, so I bought an MTX RTS8-44.

MTX Audio RTS8-44 • 8" Dual 4 ohm Road Thunder RTS Series Car Subwoofer • Peak Power: 400W • Impedance: 4 Ohms • Polypropylene Woofer Cone • Spider Plateau Venting • NBR Woofer Surround

O Ok i thought that the box took up all that space abd i understand about having it sealed. Sealed boxes sound alot better when you dont have that much space.

That Mtx is gonna sound real good
