I still say Denon over Yamaha! IMHO you will not find a more well built product than the Denon brand of receivers.

I bought a ''box'' yamaha setup. It has 5 small speakers and one woofer. Has 4 hdmi hookups, and has worked great for the past 1.5 years now. I have been very happy with it especially for the price which was around $400 from best buy...
Mine is similar to this one.

I bought a $500 Yamaha HTR-5960 about 4 years ago. I have been VERY happy with it. I would definitely look at another Yamaha if I was looking.
Here is the sister of it on ebay for about $200. RX-V659BL

I went through the same shit with my 606. I loved the thing when it worked right, but that handshake song and dance drove me fucking crazy! I bought a service plan on it through Fry's, they replaced it with a Yammy RX-V567. Not as clean or powerful as the Onkyo, but at least the fucker always works.2016 Chevrolet SS 6M

It amazes me that anyone can ignore that.

Definitely, no HDCP issues and must faster or more efficient HDMI switching.
Ignore bcoop. He's just doing what he does the best. Being bitter about God knows what and being a Debbie Downer.
Onkyo gear is solid. That's why it's the top selling brands at retail giants like Crutchfield.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
