Are there new receivers out there that will play audio over bluetooth through the iPhone? I'm seriously considering getting a new GT, but likely just a base option, but I'd really like to stream Pandora through my audio. I know you can do the auxillary jack, but I'd prefer to remain wireless.

Is there a way to recreate SYNC-like wireless audio in any car?

The streaming bluetooth does not sound that good. I would much rather plug into an Alpine that uses the decks 24bit D/A and charges the phone. Some Alpine decks will allow you to control the ipod/iphone from the ipod/iphone and you can use any audio app. I have the streaming Alpine 400BT in my truck and you can stop by and listen to it if you want.

I bought and wired in a Belkin a2dp bluetooth receiver in my car. I was rather disappointed with the quality so I removed it.
what pissed me off was my motivation to do it was a mitsubishi tv with a built in klipsch sound bar and a2dp bluetooth streaming. that thing has great sound quality, can't tell the difference between it and a cable. every available product i tested wasn't good enough.
i gave up on that all and wound up installing a tablet into my dash with dock and cable.www.hppmotorsports.com
