Where to put a/v equipment if you hang up your TV

my wife is big into decorating and we have a big armoire type thing to close everything including the tv away. But looking to hang a tv in another room and not sure what to do with dvd, blu ray, cable box, etc ...

Looking for suggestions on a nice way to do this and still please the wife.

build an inset into the wall.

Put the devices in a corner shevling unit, run the cables to the TV. If you do it right you should really only have a two cables to the TV. (HDMI and Power)

THIS or better yet hide them out of site then use one of these. I have this setup and I love it.

Put stuff in cabinet, get HDMI-over-Ethernet wall outlets, run cat5 through attic, plug in both ends, done.
