we're moving to a new house, the only have Uverse, i'm gonna miss my FIOS. Is Uverse worth getting over satellite?

It was average before. Now it's just complete fuckin' hunka shit. Only have TWC and AT&T out where I'm at and both of them are horrendous. Need more options!!!

Uverse isn't as bad as it is being portrayed.

Try being stuck with TWC, charter or Ygnition after you have had uverse and your only option is one of the above three.

The delays do suck but the price, quantity of channels, DVR capabilities and GUI are much better than the three I just listed (when all of those points are taken into consideration.). I don't care for any of the satellite options as it seems any time I've needed them to work they always fail for one reason or another, especially the cable companies that rely on satellite to supply the signal.

Ive never had fios before.

I just wish they would go back to the older version. IT was just fine. This one is just laggy as shit. Last night it took 30seconds to erase a recording. lol

FWIW I received a new U-verse dvr box and it performs much better than old one. It boots up quickly and I have yet to have any screen freezes or other issues. My advice would be to drop your old one while it's running and have them send you a new one.

I'm house sitting at my in-laws during the day who have Uverse. Periodically it will freeze for about 3-5 seconds and then jump forward and is while watching live TV. It replaced their Dish Network about three weeks ago. Anyone with Uverse have this issue?

This is really fucking up my Law & Order routine.

I still am not having any issues at all with my box, I got Uverse when I moved into my new apartment in Janurary. No freezing, no lag, no issues at all in the last 9+ months.

Tell them to drop the DVR box while it's running and then get a new one. Mine finally took a shit and when they replaced it with a new one it was 10x's better.
