Ok so. I get some blue color with the hdmi/dvi cable. I wanna do component cable. My tv has cable for green, blue, red, black, grey color cables and my blue ray only has the yellow, white, and red cable connection. Is there any cables to connect these two using the componet cables.

If your Blu Ray player only has Yellow, Red, and White outputs (and HDMI obviously) you can't use component wiring.

Your DVI connector should either have two sets of 9 pins and a flat 'spade' or three rows of 8 pins and a flat 'spade'.

I don't think it will help in your case to have the more pins (dual link) but it is worth a shot.

Why would I be getting a blue hue when parts of the movie are dark scenes.

Most likely due to it being a 2004 Phillips 60pp9363h/17

                      I really don't know.

Calibrate your picture settings. Even with that, you likely won't be able to get all of it out due to the age/tech of the TV.
