That sounds about right. Still debating on this or a KB. The PC would be a little easier on the engine, and 550 to 600 should be plenty.
In my opinion, I think the Whipple/KB's are the way to go for cars that are mainly for street duty. Tons of down low torque that you can use more often instead of having to spin the shit out of it to make power.
Most of the Vortech cars I've been seeing make like 580-630rw but only low 400's torque.

But the vortech gets out the hole better.
My car already is all over the place out the hole. Adding a k/b or whipple would make it worthless!
