After a few PMs with Josh (KWClutch), I decided to swing by Grapevine Ford on the afternoon of NYE cause I had to run to the airport anyways.
Josh already understood what I was looking for from a PM conversation (newer f150 4x4 s-crew w/ 3.5 ecoboost and no real urgency to buy on my part, looking for best deal).
I found a used truck on their site I was interested in but I snoozed 1 day too long and it was sold. In fact a new truck I also came to look at was sold too as well as another used truck. Looks like the truck market is hot right now, good for Grapevine Ford, not so much for me.
It's okay, while I wasn't able to get into a truck that day, I had good experience anyway, no high pressure BS from Josh. Even though he knew I wasn't interested in the price tag, Josh was kind enough to let me take an F250 supercrew out that I enjoyed quite a bit. Now F250s are on the list since I know they drive a lot smaller than they look. He and I are both going to keep an eye out for what shows up on the lot in terms of used trucks or incentives that might make a new one worth it for me.
