  • Gearheads kicks ass

I took my 93 GT to them after my timing cover gasket crapped out. I had them install a cam, timing chain, a tune and some other items. Travis took the time to pick a cam that was best for my set-up and Matt got me a good deal on parts and labor.

My car has never ran as well as it does now nor has it sounded as good. I just wish they would have given me my dyno sheet. No big deal I guess. Track times are the ultimate test and there is a shop just up the road from the body shop I work at that can put my car on the dyno. I would still suggest them to anyone in need of performance upgrades.

you should show some loyalty and go back and dyno there again, im sure matt will show you some love if they lost your sheet. he has always made it right for me.

I would love to do that, but due to the fact that I run a body shop myself and work 6 days a week I had to have my car towed to and from Gearheads. My shop is about 50 miles away from them as well so it is almost impossible for me to drive my car back to them. I asked Travis and Matt both several times for my dyno sheet and they both told me they would e-mail it to me. Never did.

I do not want to come off as bitching because the most important thing is the quality of their work which is top notch. I am very pleased with the work done to my car and would not think twice about taking it back to them for any performance upgrade.

in their defense, their computer with the dyno is very finicky, and could be down, you would have better luck asking them to print it out and snail mail it to you.

That would have been fine with me, but I was told their printer was not working when the tow truck arrived to pick up my car and that they would e-mail it to me. I spoke to Matt and Travis several times and they both took my e-mail adress repeatedly and said they would send it right over. Never did. I shouldn't have to beg for a dynosheet and I am not going to especially when there is a shop just up the road that can dyno it for $50.

I do not want a missing piece of paper to overshadow the awesome deal Gearheads gave me pricewise or the excellent work they did. They even cleaned up a few issues I didn't ask them too and I am very appreciative of that. My car sounds and runs better than ever so that is the most important thing.

I had bearing noise coming from the rear end. Took it in to get gears and couldnt be happier, no more noise and not even a little bit of whining from the rear end. They are VERY professional and would recommend that shop to anyone.
