  • My new project...

    Update:

So after getting a little distracted with my father's death and putting my project aside a few years ago I stumbled upon a suicide door version of this same car and decided to build it instead:

Scroll down to my new post in this thread to see the direction I'm going with the suicide door car.

After having so much fun on the power tour this year I decided I wanted to do it in something a little older this time (did it in my Syclone this year). So I woke up in the middle of the night about 6 weeks ago and had this strange thought in my head....this:

Plan is to get the airbags in place from mobsteel/ridetech with the new rear 4 link kit, some CCW's or True Forged wheels, and some big brakes. New black interior will go on but I'm kinda diggin the white paint. It's not a good paint job at all and will need to be redone eventually but I want to get the suspension and interior in it done first.

The 462 needs a tune up and there's several little things the car needs but overall I'm happy. I think it'll be cool to cruise the 2013 power tour in.

My wife calls it "project Abraham". LOL

What do yall think? Any ideas?

It's a 1967 Lincoln Continental. Pretty rare bring a 2 door, most were verts or 4 doors.

I'm really wanting 10's. I'll keep 'em clean.

                          Good choice, it's damn sexy.

Hard to decide whether I like the 2 or 4-door better. I've always wanted a suicide door Continental, but that's great looking.
