finally decided to get rid of the vette. I'm taking my daily to college, and I've never been in love with the car anyways. Always wanted a nicer sportbike so that's what I'm going to get. Something along the lines of a 600. Possibly a 1k if the money is right. Been looking at used z1000's and 636's in the 3800-4300 range.

If the car sells I plan to ride the 700 for a month or two to get used to riding on the street a bit more before buying something better.

The z1000 is a good bike if you intend to cruise. Sport bikes are loads of fun but not very comfortable for extended periods of time.

I love my 07 sv650 naked I bought 2months ago on CL as my first bike. Fun as hell to ride, pretty light bike, 56mpg, good useable power/torque. I'll admit I kinda wish it had a lot more power but it's a blast to ride. Love to upgrade to a speed triple some day. That FZ on CL looks like a great starter.

thats how it starts lol... dont kill yourself and make sure you have a garage to lock it in so your 4-5k doesnt go down the drain! be careful
