Description: I am selling the car due to the fact I do not have the time to troubleshoot and find out why the car will start right up and runs fine, but once the car gets to its operating temp and you turn the car off it will not restart untill it cools off. Im sure if someone knew what they where doing they could trouble shoot and find what wire/sensor/part is not working or hooked up wrong. The cars title reads that its a 4cyl but it has a FI 302,T-5 tranny and 8.8 rear end. Aftermarket parts that I know of... H-pipe into Flowmasters, short shifter, 70mm TB, 24lb injector, aftermarket fuel pump, Powerdyne S/C. I took the S/C off due to the fact that the car wasnt tuned for it. The S/C does come with the car and the bracket is still on the car. The interior is custome suade/leather like the 03-04 Cobras. the paint is decent about a 7-10. I have close to 9k in the car as it sits. Since I have owned it I replaced the starter seilnoid, battery, plugs, 02 sensors and adjusted the timing to see if that would correct why it dosent start back up after it warms up. I think when the V8 was put in the car someone missed a sensor, wire, vaccum hose ect. I just dont have the knowledge or time to fix it.

The Bad- The hood flew up on the car and rubbed the paint of the corner of the cowl and dented the panel where the wipers are, water pump/rear end leak. The window motors work but the passenger side is weak. The A/C system is there but I never drove the car and i do not think it works might just need freon I never messed with it.

The Good- Overall a decent Mustang just needs some TLC like most 20yr old vehicles, I know the coupe Mustangs are becoming rare and vauable. I was going to keep the car and put a carberated 351 in it but I had surgery on my hand and cant really use it to work on the car.

No trades please, If interested send me a resonable offer. I have a video of the car running on my phone, that I took about 3 months ago. I can TxT the video to you, just ask.
660-422-14oneone Contact me between 08-2100 CST Thank you!

If I get a decent offer I will give the buyer a set of weld draglights skinnys up front all four have tires rears have 275 drag radials.

I just had this same problem with my 5.0, and it was the fuel pump. I had one on there that was less than a year old, installed an old OEM one I had laying around and haven't had a problem since. Good luck with the sale.

Fwiw, my 99 5.0 exploder does this now. After its warmed up and u try to restart it after a while of sitting, u have the turn the key and prime the Fuel pump about three turns before u actually turn the car on. All it is is the fuel is leaving the lines due to FP going bad. Warmer fuel is less dense therefore it runs easier.
